Light and darkness in eternal conflict.
The centuries are scarred by their battles.
The Panacea will end the war against the shadows and bring us peace.
This prophecy is only known by a select few. The man who was running down the
alley in terror was'nt one of them. At the end of the alley, the man turned around
to see if his pursuer was still following him. it seemed that whatever was chasing
him had stopped...or so he thought.
He looked down the dark alley in which he just ran.
An icy blast of air ripped through him. As he stood there shaking slightly from the
chilly gust, it suddenly dawned on him that he was not alone. Filling with fear, the
man looked down the remainder of the alley and back down the way he came. His
hopes of seeing nothing but an empty passageway were lost. What he saw was a
pair of big, yellow eyes, but what scared him the most were the huge , blood-
stained fangs.
The man slowly walked backwards and tripped over an empty soda can. The
creature lunged forward. A sickening crunch and a muffled scream were only heard
by the ghastly creature. It ran into the shadows and disappeared.
Meanwhile, in a bedroom several miles away, a teenage boy wakes up screaming
